Board of Directors

The Board of Directors, composed of community members and parents, oversees the direction and management of all aspects of the Center including facility, finances, personnel, program curricula, and enrollment/recruitment. Parental involvement is always welcomed. The Board meets once a month except for the month of July. Parents who have concerns that they feel the Board should consider can request that the Director have the issue added to the regular meeting agenda.

A notebook containing the minutes of Board meetings, Treasurer reports and other fiscal information, and Director reports is kept in the Center office.

Parents who wish to serve on the Board are encouraged to make their interests known to any member of the Board of Directors or to the Center's Director.  The organization's not-for-profit finances are fully used for staff salaries, toys and supplies, and operational costs.
